Estate Grown Coffee

Kona coffee is the market name for Coffea arabica that is cultivated on the Kona slopes of Hualālai and Mauna Loa. The weather in this area often consists of little wind, sunny mornings, clouds or rain in the afternoon, and crisp nights, thanks to the position on the leeward side of the Big Island. This climate, along with the porous and mineral-rich volcanic soil, creates ideal coffee growing conditions.

The rugged landscape encourages small-scale farming as coffee here is harvested exclusively by hand. The quality and flavor of Kona coffee is unmatched making it one of the most prized coffees in the world. Only coffee from the North and South Kona Districts can be described as Kona and the coffee beans grown on our 7-acre farm are 100% Kona.
